You will enjoy hundreds of miles of connecting trails though our pristine forests. For the last 10 years we have received an average of 200 inches of snow. For two of the last three years our snowfall has reached record depths, over 300 inches. This heavy snowfall gives you, the rider, the very best conditions and trails.
A variety of services await you in Big Snow Country. Everything for snowmobiling enjoyment, form sales and service of your sled, to snowmobile rental. Along the trails you will find restaurants, bars and lodging.
A little about Michigan State Trail Permits. The state permits must be displayed on your sled! The trail permits are available at participating dealers such as gas stations, hotels, and restaurants. Because of the $25 fee Michigan is able to give the money back to the groomers, and the groomers in turn are able to groom the trails 7 days a week. Some trails are groomed twice a day.
