We received about 15 inches of snow today and lastnight and have been out grooming all day. We groomed 38 of the 42 km of trail. It is 9 degrees and things are freezzing up well. We plan to open on this Friday. I am not sure how many km of trails will be open and how many km of of classic tracks will be set but stay tuned for the report on Thursday. Sulo's Loop and some of Marsh trails have wet spots that will need cold temps and more snow to be skiable will keep you posted we have hopes of opening for the weekend. It is deer season in Michigan but we are on posted land where deer hunting is not allowed.
